C. Public Comment
The Library Board invites citizens to address the Board on any matter, except items on the agenda and public hearings that are included on the agenda. Comments related to items on the agenda and public hearings will be heard when the specific item/hearing starts. Citizen comments are limited to three (3) minutes, unless otherwise required by law. To address the Board, please fill out a Public Comment Card and submit it to a staff member prior to the Public Comment section on the agenda. The Library Board is not permitted to take any action or discuss any item not listed on the agenda. The Board may choose to place the item on a future agenda.
D. Recognitions
1. Recognize the appointment of Carole Walker as an Alternate Member of the Sunnyvale Library Board and the promotion of Georgeann Moss from Alternate Member to Member.
E. Presentations and Updates
1. Hear a report from the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library.
2. Hear the Director's Report and Financial Report for March 2025.
F. Discussion and Action Items
1. Discuss, consider, and act upon the minutes of the March 18, 2025 Library Board meeting.
2. Discuss recent and upcoming programs at the Doris Padgett Public Library.
3. Discuss proposed changes to public library accreditation standards as established by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
4. Discuss the potential impact of bills currently under consideration by the Texas State Legislature on the Doris Padgett Public Library.
5. Discuss, consider, and act upon scheduling the May, June, and July meetings of the Sunnyvale Library Board.

Notice is hereby given that the Library Board will conduct its Regular Meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Doris Padgett Public Library. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. Email comments may also be submitted to matthew.kolman@townofsunnyvale.org by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.
